With the conclusion of the 2010 regular season, the Miami Dolphins 2011 opponents have been revealed.
The Dolphins will play their division rivals, New England, New York and Buffalo, twice each next season. They will also be facing the AFC West, the NFC East, and the third-place finishers from both the AFC North and AFC South.
Their home schedule is as follows:
- Buffalo Bills
- New York Jets
- New England Patriots
- Denver Broncos
- Oakland Raiders
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Washington Redskins
- Houston Texans
Their road schedule is as follow:
- Buffalo Bills
- New York Jets
- New England Patriots
- Kansas City Chiefs
- San Diego Chargers
- Dallas Cowboys
- New York Giants
- Cleveland Browns
The collective record of their scheduled opponents from the 2010 season is 103-105, for a winning percentage of .495. But don’t let that fool you. A team can have as quick a turnaround as any, which has been evident this season, as the Dolphins have witnessed. This season they went playoffs to sub-.500 record and the Kansas City Chiefs had an unexpected turnaround and are a playoff contender.
If the Dolphins can get back to winning at home, and put that 1-7 home record in 2010 behind them, then there are several winnable games at Sun Life Stadium. The road, on the other hand, is due to be more tricky but they have shown that they can excel at home.
